Mark your calendars for May 23 & 24th for our exciting new Adventure Race Series at Grand Beach Provincial Park. Whether you’re a seasoned adventure racer or this is your first adventure race, this event is one you won’t want to miss!
Friday, May 23: We will be holding the 1st Annual High School Adventure Race Provincials. Students from across Manitoba will gather at Grand Beach Provincial Park to compete.
Saturday, May 24: The event will be open to the public! Bring your friends and family to experience the thrill of the race and explore the stunning natural beauty of Grand Beach.

Things to know*
Each student participating will need to pass the MPASS swim test prior to race day. It is recommended that teachers go over orienteering, trail bike basics, watercraft safety, and canoe paddle strokes with your students prior to the event.
What is an Adventure Race?
Adventure Racing (also called Expedition Racing) is a combination of two or more endurance disciplines, most often including orienteering and/or navigation, on and off-trail running/trekking, mountain biking and paddling. Each adventure race is different. The Beaches of 59 Adventure Race Series will include biking, trekking, and paddling.
