Frozen Fun: A Day on the Ice for First-Time Fishers!

Despite the extreme cold, the Learn to Ice Fish event on February 15th was a huge success! Families braved the chilly weather, enjoying a fun day on the ice. A big thank you to all the volunteers who made the event possible, and to our incredible sponsors. Although no one walked away with any fish, with the generous donations from South Beach Casino & Resort and Gray’s Food Services, Lise, Shelly and Julia walked away with some incredible prizes from our raffle. Snowmobiles were on hand to transport attendees around thanks to Northstar HIll Climbers Club. Delicious food was served thanks to Birchwood Motor Hotel and Saffies General Store. We were thrilled to see so many new fishers trying out ice fishing for the first time. It was an amazing day filled with fun, learning, and community spirit!
