About Beaches of 59

MISSION  |  OUR PURPOSE

‘Beaches of 59’ is a tourism initiative with the mission to: Provide guidance and support to help residents and visitors explore and enjoy the diverse resources and activities available throughout the Beaches of 59.

OUR AREA

Originally initiated to inspire stakeholders to collaborate & invest in the rejuvenation of the areas in and near Grand Beach Provincial Park this has expanded to the entire region including Brokenhead, Grand Beach and all other beaches along Highway 59 up to Victoria Beach. Our 4 season tourism experiences are broad & diverse: beaches galore, water sports, world-class year-round fishing, a connected trail system, golf, snowmobiling, eco-friendly activities and much more ...  all found within 90 minutes of Winnipeg!

OUR COMMITTEE

Recognizing that the geographical area spans through multiple municipalities, communities and businesses, an independent committee of local residents and business owners are working together on the Beaches of 59 marketing program. Start-up sponsorship and administration is jointly provided by the RM of Alexander and the RM of St Clements.
