Hillside Beach is nestled along a protected bay on the east side of the lake, south of the Victoria Beach peninsula. Fifteen minutes north of Grand Beach, take Hillside Beach Road W directly off Hwy 59. This beautiful Lake Winnipeg beach is separated from a large lagoon by sand dunes. The lagoon is a favourite for boating, fishing, kayaking, water skiing and bird watching.
Hillside Beach has a boat launch both into the lagoon and into Lake Winnipeg. During the summer months, the beach is equipped with portable outhouses for visitors. Fabulous Grand Pines Golf Course is just a short drive south.
