Beaconia Beach
Public parking available at the end of the gravel road off of PR 500, beach and fishing access.
Just north of Patricia Beach, along the southeast shore of Lake Winnipeg, sits Beaconia Beach. The two beaches are separated by a wide, walkable channel and lagoon. You can access Beaconia via Provincial Road 500 off of Hwy 59, but it’s a little tricky! Drive 1 kilometre and where the paved road turns, proceed straight (don’t turn) onto the gravel road and follow to the parking lot. From the parking lot, there is a path to the beach. The 3 kilometres of pristine wide sandy beaches and no man-made structures makes this beach one of the most secluded in the area. Take a short 5-minute walk south to search out a serene spot in the sand dunes with a clothing optional beach for the more adventurous.
