Albert Beach

Public parking available on Pitt Road with washroom, public parking available on Highway 59, restaurant, general store with wi-fi, gas and public telephone, beach and gift shop.

Albert Beach is situated on the south shore of Traverse Bay. This historic community is primarily French and includes many quaint, vintage cottages. The beach is 2 kilometres of fine sand, perfect for spending a summer’s day! Whether swimming, relaxing on the beach, sailing, fishing or hiking it’s a great place to enjoy. Parking can be found on Pitt Road with just a short walk to the beach. 

Albert Beach is home to the iconic Saffie’s General Store, where you can find just about anything that you are looking for. There is a restaurant and gift shop in Albert Beach and during the summer months, many activities and concerts happen on the Saffie’s deck.
